Today’s Prayers:

1. A PRAYER FOR MY LIFE:

Father, thank you for the many ways you have blessed my life, specifically for your grace, compassion, and love. Father your ways never fail. Today I pray that I will be slow to anger and that my life will bring you glory. May my actions and words point others towards you.

2.  A PRAYER FOR MY CHURCH:

God, I pray for the Summit campus that will be starting in Cheney in the fall of 2019. Today, as leaders from Summit walk through potential meeting spaces in the city of Cheney, I pray you would give them clear direction, creativity, and vision for your church and your city.

3.  A PRAYER FOR THE KINGDOM:

Lord, today I pray for all of those who call the city of Cheney home. I pray that everyone in that city, young and old, would experience the splendor of your kingdom. Let your spirt enter places, specifically the EWU campus and relationships and situations even where it seems impossible and may your love and compassion overcome.

Today’s Scripture: Psalm 145:8-13

8 The Lord is gracious and compassionate,

slow to anger and rich in love.

9 The Lord is good to all;

he has compassion on all he has made.

10 All your works praise you, Lord;

your faithful people extol you.

11 They tell of the glory of your kingdom

and speak of your might,

12 so that all people may know of your mighty acts

and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.

13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,

and your dominion endures through all generations.
