ABOUT THIS SERIES
Cruciformity: Entering into the Spirituality of the Cross
What is happiness?
Think about that for a moment. What is happiness? Interesting question, isn’t it? Given enough time we’d all agree on certain conclusions. Happiness is not an object. Happiness is not a place. Happiness is not monetary in nature. Happiness is a not person.
Now, we chase those things, trying to discover happiness. We sometimes substitute those things for happiness. But we’re all smart enough to realize that those things are not the definition of happiness. See, happiness is hard to pin down, happiness is elusive. Happiness has do with how we feel. And happiness is something we pursue. Well it’s more than just laughter, right? And it’s more than just a moment, happiness is a state of being.
One of the more significant practical outcomes of this series is the impact it will have on our happiness. It will show us where happiness is found and it will teach us about how to increase our happiness.
Cruciformity is a life that is patterned after the crucifixion. And that is the real and only source of fulfillment, contentment, and happiness in our lives. Cruciformity is entering into the spirituality of the cross, a life in the shape of the cross.
